Earthwalker Sunflower is a multi-branching annual sunflower bred to deliver abundant blooms in rich, deeply colored tones that capture the essence of autumn. Hardy across zones 2 through 11, this open-pollinated cultivar reaches 60 to 90 inches tall and matures in 70 to 79 days, making it a reliable late-season performer that pairs beautifully with fall garden companions. Its drought and heat tolerance means less fussing once established, while the profusion of flowers on each plant ensures a continuous display rather than a single dramatic bloom.

Each plant bursts into multiple flowers rather than stopping at one central head, giving you far more visual impact per square foot than standard sunflowers. The deeply saturated colors lean toward autumn shades, creating a natural harmony with mums and other seasonal bloomers. This is a sunflower built for abundance, for the gardener who wants armloads of stems rather than a single spectacular statement.
Earthwalker Sunflower shines as a cut flower for late-season arrangements, where its multiple blooms on branching stems provide lasting color and texture. Its ornamental appeal makes it equally valuable in the garden as a focal point or backdrop, bringing warm tones to borders and beds through fall.

Sow directly into garden soil after all frost danger has passed, when soil temperature consistently reaches at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Plant seeds 1 inch deep and 12 inches apart in rows spaced 24 inches apart.
Cut flower stems for arrangements once blooms have opened and achieved their full, deeply colored appearance. Harvest in early morning when stems are most turgid. For seed saving, allow flowers to fully mature on the plant, then cut seed heads and dry completely before extracting seeds for next season's planting.
