Hybrid Tea Rose
Queen Elizabeth is the iconic Grandiflora rose that changed everything when it arrived in gardens across zones 5-9. This shrub reaches 48 to 72 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide, producing masses of fragrant, showy flowers from May until frost, a blooming span that few roses can match. Grandifloras represent the best of both worlds: they combine the elegant form of hybrid teas with the prolific flowering habit of floribundas, making Queen Elizabeth a workhorse of the modern rose garden.

What sets Queen Elizabeth apart is its relentless flowering season stretching from late spring through the first frost, paired with a naturally vigorous, upright growth habit that needs no staking or fussing. The fragrant blooms arrive in waves on long stems perfect for cutting, while butterflies arrive in equal enthusiasm. This is a rose bred to perform in real gardens, not just show benches, it tolerates typical garden conditions while actually rewarding good care with even more flowers.
Queen Elizabeth excels as a flowering hedge or specimen shrub, where its height and width create natural garden architecture. The long-stemmed, fragrant blooms are superb for cutting and bringing indoors, making it equally valuable as a landscape workhorse and a source of fresh flowers throughout the growing season.
